Bug Alive Exhibition is Australia's largest live invertebrate exhibition, featuring more than 100 species of incredible mini beasts. Discover an amazing variety of live insects and invertebrates, enjoy interactive shows, expert talks, hands-on workshops, and fun activities for kids of all ages.
Exhibition Highlights
$15 per adult (16 years and older)

Bugs Alive Exhibition at held at Crosbie Morrison Building, Australian National Gardens, Canberra. Easy walk from the carpark and close to the cafe.
Our Mini Beast shows runs twice a day at 12:30pm and 2:30pm on the 2nd of October, 10:30am and 12:30pm on the 3rd to the 8th of October and at 10:30am on the 9th of October.
Each day, we'll be hosting a special workshop or guest talk. Bookings are essential for all workshops so our team can plan for participant numbers. Please note that workshops incur an additional fee to help cover materials and facilitation costs.

2nd October, Friday: 10:30am, Kids arts and craft workshop, build your own insect habitat
3rd October Saturday: 2:30pm, Tarantula talk
4th October Sunday: 2:30pm, Bugs in Crises special show
5th October Monday: 2:30pm, Invertebrate pinning and display workshop
6th October Tuesday: 2:30pm, Keeping insects and spiders at home workshop
7th October Wednesday: 2:30pm, special low sensory Mini Beast Show
8th October Thursday: 2:30pm, macro photography with our invertebrates.
