Meet Chilli, our gorgeous male Eclectus Parrot. The Eclectus Parrot is found in the canopy of rainforests and in adjacent eucalypt woodlands on the Eastern Cape York Peninsula.

Say hello to Banksi our Pink Cockatoo. Banski is an important ambassador for his species as the Pink Cockatoo was added to the National Threatened Species List in April 2023.

Mammals

Long-nosed Potoroo

Meet Winnie, our handsome Long-nosed Potoroo. Potoroos are marsupials and are closely related to the Kangaroo. They are a threaten species due to habitat loss and predation by feral predators.

We house a bachelette group of Squirrel Gliders. Squirrel Gliders are found along the east coast of Australia and look similar to the well-known Sugar Glider.

Common Blue-tongue Lizard

Cunningham skinks are highly social and live in close-knit family groups. Our family of three can often be seen at fairs and stalls.

Named for their blue tongue, Wildlife Reimagined is home to two Blue-tongue Lizards: Sue and Trev.

Fang and Toothless are our Bearded Dragons. They were named after some of the dragons from How to Train Your Dragons as they have similar characteristics.

Leaf-tailed Geckos are masters of camouflage and can be difficult to spot. Wildlife Reimagined is home to four Geckos including a breeding pair.

Woma's are a rarely seen snake species found in the deserts of central Australia. Our Woma, Tanami is still a baby but is growing quickly!

 Spotted Pythons are a medium size snake found in Northern Queensland. Spaghetti is the name of our Spotted Python, and he is a lot longer than your average strand of spaghetti.

Larger than a tennis ball, this species is Australia's largest land snail. This species is nocturnal is most active during and after rain.

A deadly, yet fascinating species. The Giant Rainforest Mantis is carnivorous and has been observed catching and eating vertebrates such as lizards, frogs and birds.
